File Upload Field

How to Add a File Upload Field to Your EventNook Registration Form

EventNook allows you to add a File Upload Field to your registration form, which lets attendees upload documents or images (such as PDFs, JPGs, PNGs) during the registration process. You can also specify acceptable file types and set file size limits. This feature is particularly useful for events that require document submissions, such as proposals, resumes, or identification documents.

Steps to Add the File Upload Field:

  1. Log in to your EventNook and Go to Event Setting Navigate to your event by selecting it from your dashboard.

  2. Go to Registration Form Settings Click on the event and choose Registration Form from the menu.

  3. Add a Custom Field Scroll down to the Custom Fields section and click on Add Field.

  4. Select File Upload From the list of field types, select File Upload.

  5. Configure the File Upload Field

    • Label Name: Name the field (e.g., "Upload Your ID", "Submit Proposal").

    • File Types: Specify the types of files you want to accept (e.g., PDF, JPG, PNG).

    • File Size Limit: Set a maximum file size for uploads (e.g., 5 MB).

  6. Save the Form After configuring, click Save to apply the changes to your registration form.

Notes:

  • Add-On Feature: The File Upload feature is an add-on. If you do not see the option in your event, please contact the EventNook team to request an upgrade.

  • Multiple Files: If you need attendees to upload multiple files, you can add several File Upload fields.

Use Cases:

  • Speaker Submissions: Collect presentation slides or speaker bios.

  • Photo Identification: Require photo IDs for verification at security-heavy events.

  • Proposals or Resumes: For events like job fairs, you can collect resumes directly through the registration process.
