Ticket & Fee

How to Create Tickets in EventNook

In EventNook, you can create different types of tickets to match your event needs—whether you're offering free registrations, paid tickets, or multiple ticket categories for different audience segments.

Default Ticket: “Registration”

When you first create a new event, EventNook automatically creates a default ticket named “Registration”.

  • This default ticket is set as a free ticket ($0).

  • You can either edit this ticket or create new ticket types as needed.

Creating Tickets

To add new ticket types:

  1. Click on Event Settings > Ticket & Fee from the left menu.

  2. Click the Add Ticket button.

Ticket Options You Can Customize:

  • Ticket Name (e.g., Early Bird, VIP, Student)

  • Price (set to $0 for free tickets or a specific amount for paid ones)

  • Capacity Available - This defines the total number of tickets available for a specific ticket type. Once this capacity is reached, ticket sales will automatically close for that ticket and buyers will no longer be able to select it.

  • Quantity Limit Per Order - This setting allows you to define the minimum and maximum number of tickets a buyer can select per order for a specific ticket type. For example, if you set the minimum quantity to 2, the buyer must select at least 2 tickets when purchasing that ticket.

  • Sales Start & End Dates

  • Ticket Description (helpful for attendees to understand the benefits or terms)

  • Protect Registration with an Invitation Code – Enable this option to restrict access to the ticket so that only users with a valid invitation code can select and register for it.
