Customising Form Fields By Ticket Type

Customizing Registration Form Fields by Ticket Type in EventNook

EventNook allows organizers to customize the registration form by showing or hiding specific fields based on the ticket type. This feature is particularly useful when different ticket categories require different information from attendees.

Example Use Case

For a school open house, you may offer two types of tickets: one for Parents and one for Students. Each ticket type requires different information:

  • Parent Ticket: Does not need to collect student-specific details such as School Name or Date of Birth.

  • Student Ticket: Requires fields like School Name, Date of Birth, and other relevant student details.

By customizing the form fields, you ensure that attendees only see and fill out the fields that are applicable to their ticket type, creating a smoother registration process.

How to Customize Fields by Ticket Type

  1. Go to Advanced Form Settings:

    • From your event dashboard, navigate to Registration Form.

  2. Access Fields by Ticket:

    • In the Advanced Form Settings section, locate the option for Fields by Ticket.

    • Next, go to the field where you want to apply the ticket types.

  3. Assign Fields to Specific Ticket Types:

    • For each ticket type, you can configure which fields should be visible or hidden.

    • For example, for the Student ticket type, you can choose to hide fields like Company Name and Job Title, while making them visible for the Parent ticket type.

This feature ensures that attendees only provide relevant information, reducing unnecessary form entries and simplifying the registration process.

By customizing fields based on ticket type, EventNook helps event organizers streamline data collection, enhance attendee experience, and improve event management efficiency.
