Waiting List Registration
How to use the waiting list feature when the event is oversubscribed.
EventNook offers a Waiting List feature that allows organizers to handle additional guests when tickets are fully booked. This feature helps manage to allow more attendees by putting them on a pending registration list, which the organizer can approve if space becomes available. Here's how to enable and manage it:
Enabling the Waiting List Feature
Navigate to the Registration Setting:
Go to your Event Setting.
Select Registration Setting > Waiting List Setting.
Activate Waiting List:
Under Waiting List Setting, toggle the option to enable the waiting list for a particular ticket type.
Configure by Ticket Type:
The waiting list can be activated for specific ticket types, allowing you to manage capacity by ticket category.

How the Waiting List Works
When a ticket type is fully booked: The system will display an "Add to Waiting List" button for that specific ticket. This signals to attendees that the event is full, but they can still register to be added to a pending list.
Attendee Registration Process: Attendees who click the "Add to Waiting List" button will fill out the same registration form as standard attendees.
Once the registration is submitted, their registration will appear in the system with a pending status.
The acknowledgment email (Pending Email) will be sent to acknowledge the registration has been received. The Pending email can be customized under Email Template setting.
The Pending Message in Thank you page will be displayed and it can also be customized under Site Content > Thank You page setting.
Approving Guests: As the organizer, you can quickly review the pending registrations and approve guests if you decide to accept more attendees. Approved guests will then receive confirmation of their registration.
This feature is especially useful for events where you may anticipate more interest than capacity and want to manage attendee flow smoothly.
