Customizing the Thank You Page in EventNook

The Thank You Page in EventNook allows you to personalize the message that attendees see after completing their registration or ticket purchase. Customizing this page helps organizers ensure clear communication, provide important next steps, and enhance the attendee experience.

For example, if your event requires manual approval for registrations or if payments take time to process, you can use the Thank You message to manage attendee expectations and avoid confusion.


How to Access the Thank You Page Settings

  1. Log in to your EventNook account.

  2. Select the event you want to customize.

  3. Go to Settings > Site Content > Thank You.


Customization Options

There are two types of Thank You messages you can set up:

1. Thank You Message for Confirmed Order / Registration

This message is displayed when an attendee successfully completes the registration or ticket purchase, and their order is confirmed.

Why this is useful for organizers:

  • Confirms successful registration and reassures attendees.

  • Reduces unnecessary inquiries about whether a registration went through.

  • Can include next steps, such as event reminders or links to download tickets.

Example: "Thank you for registering! Your order has been confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email shortly. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us."


2. Thank You Message for Pending Order

This message appears when an order is still pending, such as when payment is not yet completed (e.g., bank transfer, manual approval).

Why this is useful for organizers:

  • Clearly informs attendees that their registration is not yet finalized.

  • Helps reduce confusion and unnecessary follow-up emails.

  • Provides instructions on how to complete the registration process.

Example: "Thank you for registering! Your order is currently pending. Please complete your payment to confirm your registration. If you need assistance, contact our support team."


Best Practices for Customizing the Thank You Page

Keep it clear and concise – Ensure the message clearly informs attendees of their registration status. ✅ Include next steps – For pending orders, guide attendees on what they need to do next (e.g., complete payment, check their email). ✅ Provide contact details – Offer a way for attendees to reach out if they have questions. ✅ Personalize the message – Add a friendly tone or event-specific details to enhance the attendee experience.
