Manual Approval Registration

How to enable the Registration Approval Option in EventNook

By default, EventNook automatically approves registrations upon successful submission. However, for events that require a review process before confirming attendees, you can enable the Registration Approval Required option. This feature allows the organizer to manually approve each registration before it is confirmed.

How to Enable Registration Approval

  1. Go to Registration Settings:

    • From your event dashboard, navigate to Registration Settings.

  2. Enable Approval Required:

    • Look for the option labeled Registration Manual Approval Required and enable it.

Once this setting is activated, registrations will not be automatically confirmed. Instead, they will be marked as Pending until the organizer reviews and approves them.

How to Approve Registrations

  1. Navigate to View Orders:

    • From your dashboard, select View Orders.

  2. Filter by Pending Status:

    • Use the filter to view only Pending registrations, making it easier to see which attendees are awaiting approval.

  3. Approve Registrations:

    • Review the details of each pending registration and, if everything is in order, approve them directly from the View Orders section.

Once approved, the attendees will receive a confirmation and their status will be updated from Pending to Approved.

Use Case:

This feature is ideal for events that require additional verification steps, such as invitation-only events, VIP lists, or events with specific entry criteria. By manually approving each registration, organizers can maintain full control over who gets confirmed for the event.
