Customizing the Pending Email Template in EventNook

The Pending Email is sent when a registration is marked as “Pending”, usually for events that require:


🕒 When It’s Sent

This email is automatically triggered:

  • Right after a participant registers

  • For registrations requiring approval or manual payment verification


✏️ What You Can Customize

1. Subject Line

Example: Your Registration Has Been Received – {{eventInfo.title}}

2. Email Content

Include:

  • Confirmation that the registration was received

  • Reason for the pending status

  • Expected timeline (e.g., “We’ll confirm within 2 business days”)

  • Payment or document instructions (if needed)

  • Organizer contact info

Tip: Use placeholders like {{eventInfo.title}} or {{order.firstName}} for personalization.


🛠️ How to Edit

  1. Go to Event Dashboard > Registration Settings > Email Template

  2. Select the Pending Email

  3. Edit the subject and message content

  4. Save your changes
