Tagging Assignment

Tagging in EventNook allows you to label and categorize attendees, making guest management more efficient. Similar to hashtags on social media, tags can be used to highlight important guest information, such as seating assignments or event roles (e.g., VIP, Speaker, Sponsor). During check-in, the EventNook Kiosk App displays these tags, enabling staff to quickly identify and provide personalized service to each guest.

Benefits of Tagging:

  • Easily identify VIPs, groups, or table assignments.

  • Track guest check-ins by tags (e.g., see how many VIPs have arrived).

  • Filter and sort attendees based on tags for efficient guest management.

How to Enable the Tagging Feature

To start using the Tagging feature, follow these steps:

  1. Enable the Tagging field in your event’s registration form:

    • Go to Settings > Registration Form.

    • Enable the Tagging field.

Note: The Tagging field is usually set as hidden because attendees don’t need to fill this during registration. The event organizer can update the tags later.

How to Update Tagging Information

You can update the tagging information of registered guests in two ways:

Option 1: Import your data with the Tagging field

When you upload the guest list, you can include the Tagging field and import it together.

  1. Log in to your EventNook Onsite Platform.

  2. Go to Manage > Attendees.

  3. Search for the attendee you wish to update.

  4. Click View > Edit to modify the Tagging field.

Additional Uses of the Tagging Field

  • Badge Printing: Print tags (like VIP status or table number) directly on attendee badges for easy identification.

  • Analytics: Analyze guest data by groups, such as checking how many VIPs have arrived by reviewing summary information in the check-in app.

Summary

Tagging is a powerful tool to help you efficiently manage guests, providing insights into attendee categories like VIPs or table assignments. You can also use tagging for badge printing, email personalization, and data analysis, making your event operations more streamlined and organized.
