How to Set Up Time-Based Tier Pricing in EventNook

Setup Pricing by Time-Based Tiered Promotion

EventNook allows event organizers to set up time-based tiered pricing for tickets, making it easy to offer different rates like Early Bird, Regular, and Walk-in prices. This feature helps you create urgency and incentivizes attendees to register early by offering discounted rates for a limited time.

Example of Tiered Pricing

Here’s an example of how you can set up tiered pricing for an event:

  • Early Bird Rate: Available until 30th April.

  • Regular Rate: Available until 30th June.

  • Walk-in Rate: Available starting from 1st July.

Each tier can be fully customized in terms of pricing, availability dates, and display options.

Customizing Tier Titles and Dates

When setting up tier pricing, you can customize the title text for each tier to match your event’s specific needs. For example, you can label your tiers as:

  • "Early Bird Rate (before 30-April)"

  • "Regular Rate (before 30-June)"

  • "Walk-in Rate (from 1-July)"

This custom text gives clarity to your attendees about when each rate applies.

Automatic Tier Visibility Control

EventNook also includes an option to automatically hide expired tiers once their respective deadlines pass. This means when the date for a specific pricing tier is over, it will no longer be visible on the registration page, preventing confusion for potential attendees.

How to Set Up Time-Based Tier Pricing

To create time-based tier pricing, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Event Management Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Create Ticket.

  3. Click the Promo Tier Pricing button.

  4. Set up your pricing tiers:

    • Define the title for each tier (e.g., Early Bird, Regular, Walk-in).

    • Specify the start and end dates for each pricing tier.

    • Enter the price for each tier.

  5. Customize additional options like automatic tier visibility based on the time period.

Once set, EventNook will handle the pricing changes automatically based on the dates you define.

Summary of Key Features

  • Time-based pricing tiers: Offer different rates depending on registration dates (e.g., Early Bird, Regular, Walk-in).

  • Customizable tier labels: Set custom titles like "Early Bird Rate (before 30-April)" to give clear instructions to attendees.

Setting up time-based tier pricing is a great way to drive early registrations and keep pricing clear and structured throughout your event promotion period.
