Invitation Code
How to Use the Invitation Code Feature in EventNook
EventNook’s Invitation Code feature is designed for event organizers who need to control access to specific ticket types—such as free or complimentary passes for Speakers, Media, or VIPs—using a special invitation code. Unlike promotional discount codes, the invitation code restricts ticket access to only those who have the code, ensuring that only authorized individuals can claim certain ticket types.
How Invitation Codes Work
The Invitation Code allows event organizers to set certain tickets as accessible only by those with the code. This is ideal for offering free or complimentary passes for certain groups, such as:
Speakers, Media, Event Sponsors
Members
VIP Guests, etc
By providing these attendees with an invitation code, you ensure that only authorized individuals can access these exclusive tickets.
Setting Up Invitation Codes
Here’s how you can set up and use invitation codes for your event:
Log in to your EventNook and go to the event you want to manage.
Navigate to Manage > Invitation Code
Create Invitation Code
Click Save Changes
Managing Invitation Codes
The Manage > Invitation Code feature in EventNook App V3 allows you to easily oversee and organize all your invitation codes in one place.
From this section, you can:
Upload invitation codes in bulk, saving time when dealing with a large number of guests that require invitation code.
View a complete list of all invitation codes that have been created for your event.
Bulk uploading Invitation Codes

Bulk invitation codes are useful when you need to personalize a large number of invitation codes for a large group of attendees. You can do this by clicking 'Create Bulk Invitation Codes', where you can conveniently generate multiple codes by entering each new code on a separate line, and selecting the applicable ticket type(s).
This allows you to upload and manage them in bulk, rather than creating each code individually—saving time and ensuring consistency across your guest list. An example is shown below:
