Testing Your Email Content Before Sending Mass Emails

Before sending out mass emails to your attendees, it's essential to test your email content to ensure everything appears as intended, including personalization through mail-merge fields. EventNook provides two easy options for testing your emails:

1. Preview Email

To quickly view a preview of your email content, simply click the Preview Email button. This option generates a sample version of your email, using placeholder data for any mail-merge fields (e.g., order number, first name). It allows you to see how your email will look with typical content, helping you spot any formatting or layout issues before sending.

2. Send a Test Email with a Real Order

For a more accurate test, you can send a test email using real order data. Here's how:

• Enter the actual order number of a registration and your email address. You can get an order number from the View Orders report

• EventNook will generate an email using the real details from the order you selected, such as the attendee's name, order number, and other information you've included in mail-merge fields.

• This test email will be sent to the email address you provided, allowing you to check how the personalized information appears for actual attendees.

By testing your emails through either of these methods, you can ensure that your content is accurate and professional before sending it out to your entire attendee list.
