How to Send Lucky Draw Numbers to All Attendees

Running a lucky draw as part of your event? EventNook makes it easy to assign and share Lucky Draw Numbers with your attendees — whether you're using the platform for RSVP, onsite check-in, or both.

Here’s how you can assign and communicate Lucky Draw Numbers based on how you're using EventNook.

🧩 Assigning Lucky Draw Numbers

There are two main ways to assign lucky draw numbers, depending on how you use EventNook:

1. If You're Using EventNook for Onsite Check-in Only (No Online RSVP)

If you’re not using EventNook’s online registration form but only using it for onsite check-in, you can upload your guest list directly — including a Lucky Draw Number field.

Steps:

  • Prepare your guest list in a spreadsheet.

  • Add a column for Lucky Draw Number and assign unique numbers.

  • Upload the guest list into EventNook with the lucky draw number as a custom field.

👉 This method is ideal for pre-invited guest lists where attendees are checked in at the venue.

2. If You're Using EventNook Online RSVP

If you're collecting attendee information through EventNook's online registration form, you can assign Lucky Draw Numbers later using:

a) Bulk Update via CSV

  • Export your attendee list from EventNook.

  • Add or update the Lucky Draw Number column in the CSV.

  • Re-upload the file using the Bulk Update function to update existing records.

b) Bulk Edit in the Dashboard

  • Go to the Attendees list.

  • Use the Bulk Edit feature to manually assign Lucky Draw Numbers to multiple attendees.

✉️ How to Communicate Lucky Draw Numbers

Once the lucky draw numbers are assigned, you can let your attendees know in two simple ways:

1. Send Email with Lucky Draw Number (Mail-Merge)

You can include the Lucky Draw Number in:

  • Confirmation Emails (at the time of registration)

  • Follow-up Emails (using the “Email to Attendees” feature)

Just insert the Lucky Draw Number field as a mail-merge tag, and each attendee will receive their unique number.

Example: “Hi [Name], your Lucky Draw Number for the event is [Lucky Draw Number]. Don’t forget to check if you win during the live draw!”

2. Print Lucky Draw Number on Badges

If you’re printing badges through EventNook, you can include the lucky draw number directly on the badge design.

  • Customize your badge template to display the Lucky Draw Number field.

  • During onsite check-in, attendees will receive a badge with their number printed on it.

This is a great way to make the lucky draw fun and seamless during in-person events!

✅ Pro Tips

  • Use unique and easy-to-read numbers (e.g., 1288).

  • Notify attendees early so they know to keep their number handy.

  • Double-check mail-merge fields before sending bulk emails.
