How to Set Up Stripe for Online Payments in EventNook

EventNook supports Stripe for collecting online payments, making it easy for your attendees to pay using major credit cards and other digital payment methods. Stripe accepts payments from Visa, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional payment methods like PayNow, Alipay, and WeChat Pay.

Steps to Accept Payments with Stripe

To start collecting payments through Stripe, follow these steps:

To use Stripe for your event payments, you will need a Stripe account. If you don't have one, visit Stripe to sign up.

Once your Stripe account is ready:

  1. Navigate to Event Settings of your event.

  2. Select Currency & Payment.

  3. Under the payment options, enable Stripe payment (Yes, accept pay by Stripe) and click Connect New / Edit Stripe Account button if you are connecting it for the first time with eventnook. Otherwise, you can simply choose the Stripe account that's already connected from the dropdown shown below.

3. Configure Payment Settings

After linking your Stripe account, you can customize your payment settings:

  • Currency: Set the appropriate currency for your event.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: Stripe will automatically accept credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc.) and other payment options like Apple Pay, Google Pay.

  • Other payment methods, such as PayNow in Singapore, Alipay, WeChat Pay, etc., are additional options to enable it, and the payment methods are subject to the currency, merchant and buyer. If you would like to use these other payment methods, please check with EventNook team for further support.
