Accepting Payments via Singapore PayNow SG QR Code

EventNook supports accepting payments through Singapore PayNow SG QR Code, allowing buyers to make fast and secure payments using local bank apps.

At the payment checkout page, the system will automatically generate a unique PayNow SG QR Code based on:

• The order amount

• The organiser’s PayNow UEN (Unique Entity Number)

• The order number

Buyers can simply scan the QR code using their preferred Singapore banking app (e.g., DBS, OCBC, UOB) to complete the payment.

How to Enable PayNow SG QR Code

To enable this payment method:

1. Go to Currency & Payment Settings in your event setup.

2. Enable "YES, Accept Payment via SG PayNow QR Code".

3. Enter your UEN number linked to your PayNow account.

4. Optionally, add custom payment instructions for buyers (e.g., payment deadline, reference to include, etc.).

Here is how you can apply the PayNow setting.

Note: Make sure your UEN is registered with PayNow and can receive funds. Test the payment before launching your event to ensure everything works smoothly.

Payment Confirmation Process

• Once the buyer submits the order and completes the PayNow transfer, the payment is received instantly in your linked bank account.

• The order status will initially be set to Pending Payment.

• As the organiser, you must manually verify the payment and confirm the order from the View Orders page in your EventNook dashboard.
