EventNook Session App: Individual QR Login for Session-Specific Check-In

The EventNook Session App now supports Individual Session access only with QR Login, enabling organisers to grant crew access to check-in for a specific session only.

This new feature enhances security and control at multi-session events, such as conferences, workshops, or seminars, by allowing organisers to assign crew members to particular sessions without giving them access to other parts of the event.

How It Works

With Individual QR Login:

  • Each session will have a unique QR login access code generated by the organiser.

  • When scanned in the EventNook Session App, the QR code logs the crew into the app with permission to access and manage only the assigned session.

  • The crew member cannot view or check-in attendees for other sessions they are not authorised for.

Example Use Case

You are running a full-day conference with 5 breakout sessions. You assign 3 different crew members, each responsible for check-in at different sessions. With Individual QR Login:

  • Each crew member only sees the session they are assigned to.

  • They cannot switch to other sessions or accidentally check-in the wrong attendees.

  • This simplifies on-site management and improves session access control.

How to Set Up Individual QR Login

  1. Go to EventNook's Onsite Platform

  2. Navigate to the Multi-Sessions section under Setting of your event.

  3. Select a specific session.

  4. Generate a QR Login Code for that session.

  5. Share the QR code with the crew assigned to that session only.

  6. Crew members can use the EventNook Session App to scan the QR and log in.

Note: Each QR login is session-specific and time-bound. It can be regenerated or revoked anytime for security.

For large-scale or multi-room events, this feature makes it easier to delegate responsibilities and ensure session-level control without compromising data or access across the event.
